Getting our daily dose of veggies has never been so easy! Fruit smoothies are easy to make and nourish the body with essential nutrients. I have one recipe that I keep coming back to, not only for its benefits, but it’s delicious taste!
I have tried my share of smoothies, and some of them are a little to bland for my taste. I wanted to share with you guys my tricks to the perfect smoothie and also one of my favorite recipes! Check out my video below for a quick how-to using my favorite smoothie recipe.
The rules of the perfect smoothie
Use frozen fruit
Using frozen fruit eliminates ice, therefore making your smoothie richer and tastier!
Don’t add ice
Adding ice will water the smoothie and make it taste bland. The richer the smoothie, the tastier it will be!
Don’t add sugar
The purpose of a smoothie is to nourish your body! It’s supposed to be healthy. Never add sugar, resist the urge!
Don’t add milk
This is not a milkshake, it’s a healthy fruit treat! By adding milk, you are adding calories that are not necessary. For a thicker smoothie, just add bananas.
Spinach is a must in smoothies, it’s loaded with vitamins and you won’t even taste it!
Green smoothie recipe:
1/2 cup of frozen spinach
1 Sliced Frozen Banana
Chopped frozen pineapple
A little bit of water
Mix together in blender and enjoy!
