Hey guys! I’m in the process of redecorating my office space and as many of you know, this can get quite expensive. I was looking to buy a ribbon pin board/bulletin board and was shocked at how pricey they were! So I headed to my local craft store and decided to DIY this. My color scheme is white, black and gold, but you can choose any color to fit your current decor. I got the cork board and ribbon from Michael’s, the fabric is from Joannes, and the tacks from target. You can also buy batting, which is a cotton puffy material that makes the pin board “pop” and gives it a 3D effect. I omitted this step since I’m on a budget and it looks just as nice. Since I’m redoing everything, I had some old chairs that I painted and re-upolstered with this same fabric so I used the leftover fabric for this project!
Hot glue gun
Batting (the cotton) this step optional.
I cut the fabric and left enough space so I can fold it over.
Cut the edges off to create a cleaner look
like this 🙂
Fold over the fabric and glue it to the cork board
All glued then turn over…
Lay your desired ribbon over the board in a criss-cross pattern.
Place the thumb tacks where the ribbons meet
Glue the ends of the ribbons to the back of the board. Make sure they are not loose so they hold notes etc.
This french bulletin board is very easy to make. I love that I can just stick a note or piece of paper to the ribbon and I don’t have to actually use a pin. It’s also very stylish and brings a little more life to the room. Will be showing more fun office decorating ideas soon! I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial!

You get all four shades in one beautiful palette that’s easy to use, and did I mention it has a mirror?!
It comes with four colors…
★YELLOW: Warms skin tone and counteracts discoloration.

Hey guys! New scents are in the shop! They are amazing and come in the cutest containers! These are different and not your typical “commercial” fragrances. Since discovering perfume oils, I have ditched wearing my overpriced name brand perfumes and I am enjoying collecting all sorts of interesting scents!
Why do I choose perfume oils over commercial alcohol based perfumes?
It’s cleaner, richer, truer scent. Not harsh, overbearing, or overpowering
It has a longer shelf life
It’s less likely to cause allergic reaction
Your typical alcohol–based perfume comes on very strong because fragrance in alcohol evaporate faster than they would on their own. This gives the impression that the perfume is 10 or 15 times stronger than it actually is. So when you first apply your fragrance, the aroma may sometimes seem harsh and overwhelming. It’s really the alcohol in perfume that causes the scent to disappear in two or three hours after using it. The fragrance has evaporated along with the alcohol!
Not to mention it’s Overpriced and made with 80-97 percent alcohol. Commercial perfumes are not long-lasting, Harsh, overbearing, as well as a short shelf-life due to alcohol evaporation. It also has a high probability of causing allergic reactions and many are highly flammable.
Perfume oils, on the other hand are gentle and make great gifts for any occasion. They are super affordable and come in scents that people will actually enjoy, there’s a scent for everyone!
I will keep adding more scents throughout the month. If you guys have any suggestions in what scents I should add to the shop, just let me know!
