The “Ugly” Christmas sweater is a holiday tradition. It seems everyone at least once in their lifetime will get one of these for the holidays. They have become synonymous with the “bad” christmas present everyone dreads. But this year sweaters are in! The “ugly” Christmas sweater is not so ugly after all. I seem to be finding some cute ones, somehow trendy ones out there. So I compiled a list of my favorite “pretty” christmas sweaters this year. I can honestly say I would wear any of them!
It’s a winter wonderland in New York! I thought I would stay home and snuggle with a comfy blanket and a cup of tea. What do I do on a snow day? Basically I just lounge in the comfiest clothes I have, a pair of socks and slippers, my hair in a bun, a snack in one hand and a notebook in the other. I always keep a good moisturizer handy for that winter time dry skin, and if I have time I’ll even do my nails!
Cute little sweater in the most delicate shade of pink by Maison Jules , paired with my beloved American eagle ripped jeans, and a studded tee from H&M.
Yesterday was such a crazy day I forgot to post my outfit of the day Anywho…it was 60 degrees in New York so I was excited I could wear flats! My favorite accessory is a scarf, can’t live without it, and a little Essie nail polish to keep with the purpleish theme!
The Ralph Lauren tee I got from one of my favorite bloggers Monica Siembieda, who has an awesome fashion blog. We recently met up at a blogger’s lunch which she hosted and all the girls got these lovely tees in different colors!
The scarf is american eagle the flats are Call it spring.
What an awesome way to start my day! My blue skinnies and gold threaded sweater are just up my alley! I paired it with my leopard watch for New York and Co. and a cute gold chain bracelet. Also adding some fun with the printed scarf from Banana Republic and an adorable necklace by Capwell and Co.
Just for fun, I though I would wear a cute little preppy collar shirt and pair it with ripped jeans. I think I’m a little obsessed with boyfriend jeans, especially if they are worn out and ripped…don’t judge me 🙂 The collar shirt has such cute details and a little sparkle with the jewels I just couldn’t resist.
The sweater is by Maison Jules and the collar top is by Bar III both brands from Macys.
I just love Olivia Palermo’s chic outfit. The floral peplum top is by TIBI but everything else is probably in your closet. Add a pair of skinny jeans, black pumps, a thin beige belt, a cute clutch, and a pair of black sunglasses and you have the look! Oh and don’t forget the red nail polish!
